In practice
A quote on ShopJig
A customer uploads a DXF of a gusset and a STEP file of a bent bracket on your website. ShopJig reads the parts: cut length, holes, bends. They pick material and thickness from what you stock and enter a quantity. The price comes back in seconds, with the quantity breaks shown and your minimum order applied.
They accept it, and the shop has the parts, materials and quantities without re-typing anything. From there the work flows on to the invoice and QuickBooks like everything else. See the full walk-through on the instant quoting page.
